About Me



Growing up in Southern California with a mother who is a contemporary artist, a father in the fabric business and a brother in fashion design...interior design is a natural fit.  A graduate in 1985 with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts in Architectural Interior Design from California State University, Long Beach.

Gordon Design Group was founded in 1985 by Linda Gordon.  GDG creates unique designs tailored to the clients’ needs and tastes.  Many have called on the firm to design second and third homes or have referred GDG to others.  Specializing in high-end residential waterfront homes, the firm is known for paying special attention to details whether a large formal estate or a casual beach cottage.  Well versed in all phases of residential interior design from space planning, building codes, fabric selection, interior building materials, furnishings, interior detailing, custom lighting and audio visual.  The firm is committed to the use of top quality materials, attention to detail and personalized service.  In addition to the above, GDG offers the following services:   Construction Documents,  Custom Furniture and Millwork Design, Art and Accessories, Color Boards and Onsite Supervision.
